ABOUT Brian

I am a professional writer and editor, and mentor and coach. I’ve worked for international publishing houses, as well as in television, digital media, refereed journals, and advertising. I’ve provided hundreds of seminars, lectures, workshops, and speaking engagements about writing.

I’ve worked with thousands of of students and faculty as an academic writing tutor and coach in higher education for 15 over years. I was as writing tutor at Queen’s University (Kingston) and the director of the academic Writing Centre at Saint Mary’s University from 2010 to 2022.

I have also helped in the publication of books, text book, journal articles, and Masters and PhD thesis. I am currently the editor of CWCR/RCCR, co-editor of academic journal, SKRIB, and past-editor of CWCAB.
